A few folks stood up at the center of town,
‘Cause they were fed up with things going down,
They stood strong, but could have used some more,
To share what they were standing for.

If you don’t like the things you see going on,
It’s time to stand before freedom’s gone,
If life is lacking for justice and meaning,
It’s time to stand up and quit leaning,

When the injustice is no longer shrouded,
I hope for all the streets get crowded,
For trouble to be good it takes so many,
Stand for your rights before there aren’t any,
