“Fly Away Some Time” is a dreamscape about flying away from the cares of the world with one’s love. It was in the dead of winter in North America and Ed was dreaming of flying away to a tropical paradise. Out of that dream came “Fly Away Some Time”. First released as a nearly live acoustic single on the out print “The Real Deal”, it has become a staple on Ed’s live shows. Ed brought back his his virtual band Podunk to make this track more like what he was hearing in his head when he wrote it quite a while ago. This electrified version has lots of electric twelve string jangle and a much stronger rhythm section. This remixed version has a much better feel.
