All the darkness and the hatred,
The bloody stain of mankind’s greed,
The worthless things we so fear losing,
Are they really what we need?
When see our brother hurting,
When he’s trembling in his fear,
Will we forget it’s ours to help him?
Until his skies are clear.
Have we lost for good the days of old?
When walked the planet side by side,
When we looked out for each other,
Instead of trying to save our pride?
